We met in in our high school physical science class, but we both had our own group of friends, sports, and interests. It wasn't until a year later when we got each other's numbers and a "I think you're cute" was sent. The rest is history...

We booked a big trip to Europe with our main intention being to go see the Women's World Cup in France. We visited Madrid and Bordeaux before heading to Paris for the big game. Of course people at home were speculating a possible engagement, but Lisa NEVER thought Jonah would travel out of the country with a ring. Jonah set up a surprise photo shoot, with the story that it was for Lisa's graduation gift. While getting ready, Lisa's hair dryer caught on fire, while walking to the pictures we both sweat through our clothes, then Lisa unknowingly said "no" to taking a shot to help calm Jonah's nerves, and the photographer kept mentioning a "special" photo. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end. Jonah completely surprised Lisa and proposed in front of the gardens at the Royal Palace of Madrid and we couldn't be happier!
