We met through a mutual friend. We actually saw each other across the room at another friend outing. On this day, we locked eyes, but did not officially meet until another friend outing. From then on, it is history. We began the courtship that has had us together for 4 years. We are blessed to have each other and are excited to become husband and wife.

John proposed during an outing with our nephew. We spent most of the beginning of the pandemic inside like everyone else and thought it a great idea to buy roller blades and roller skates and spend time outside as safe as possible. We wanted to take my nephew along to teach him how to roller skate. John pretended to fall as he was skating and got down on one knee on the concrete and showed me the ring. Shock does not begin to describe it. Our nephew videotaped it for us to have the awesome memory forever. We are happy to now be getting ready for our nuptials.
