“We’re getting married!!”

We met on e-Harmony on 05/07/2023. We both are widowed, but that wasn’t all we had in common. We had long phone conversations until we met in person. One conversation was 9 hours long. We finally met in person and started dating 05/20/2023. The rest is history. We have done so much within this year and we can only hope we have many more.

Jeff took Lisa to Gatlinburg for a getaway and to propose to her. He had plans to get her on the mountain top and propose much sooner than the 17th. However, it took him a few days to help her get over her fear. It was Lisa’s first time being in Gatlinburg and being on the mountains was an environmental shock to her. Though he got her through it and on a very cold night on the 17th of February he proposed. Lisa really loved the view and was so happy Jeff convinced her to get over her fears. She kept saying she was cold and ready to get back in the car. He was like wait a minute. He then got on one knee while expressing his love for her. Lisa was so happy she was no longer cold. The moment warmed her. It was a very beautiful moment that neither will forget.
