We met on an app....that's more normal now a days, right? Both of us were looking for nothing serious. Just to meet someone cool to hang out with. In a sea of perfectly posed pics, duck lip pouts, and fishing pics Jason came across Lisa and swiped right, hoping to get the chance to chat. Lisa found Jason days later while swiping and saw this picture of a 6 foot man in a Care Bear onesie. She swiped right, and the next day they began chatting. 3 days later they met at a bar after work for drinks and chatted the night away. We have been together ever since.

We shared a lot of the same interests and values right out the gate. We knew it was a forever kind of thing and began building a life we love. Jason is a Union Forklift Driver for Kroger. Lisa is a Branch Manager and AVP for North Shore Bank. They made their home in West Allis, Wisconsin. In 2020, we found out we were expecting something we had only hoped and dreamed of. Our son, Wyatt. He was born on June 21, 2021. Our favorite moments together only got sweeter having our new baby with us. As a family we love to travel, spend time outdoors, watch movies and we end everyday with a family hug.

We had not had a date night in quite a while in April of 2022. Tending to our son and our busy lives and making time for family has always been our top priority. So we both were so excited to get a night away for dinner at Harbor House Restaurant in Downtown Milwaukee on the lakeshore of Lake Michigan. We could just be us. Hold hands and enjoy adult conversation. We arrived and thought that the Open Table app had scored us a fabulous table with one of the best views in the house for dinner. Jason went to the bathroom while Lisa used Snapchat to share their skyline view and he returned to the table to get down on one knee while the waiter brought champagne and filmed him asking her to be his wife. Lisa, obviously, said "yes". Diners clapped, the ring was stunning, the tears were happy, and the love was real. We were excited to begin the rest of our days as a married couple!!! And that great view....Jason made that happen and arranged the whole proposal with the lovely staff of the Harbor House.
