Getting onto Belle Isle & to DYC

*TO AVOID THE BELLE ISLE ENTRY FEE: Click on "VIEW" below to get your Dept. Natural Resources (DNR) entry pass and a map of Belle Isle showing the route to Detroit Yacht Club! You can show the pass from your phone. **PLEASE LEAVE ENOUGH TIME TO GET THERE!! It can take as long as 15-20 minutes to get to DYC once you drive onto Belle Isle. Once you arrive on Belle Isle, Google Maps/GPS might try to lead you astray. The easiest way to get to DYC: After the 1st roundabout/statue, proceed to the DNR booths toward the LEFT, then proceed straight along Central Avenue through the middle of the island until it dead-ends into Lakeside Drive. Turn left on Lakeside Drive, follow the curve and the wooden bridge entrance to the DYC will be on your right.
