Becoming one flesh under God

How we connected: We knew of each other for quite awhile but little did we know that God was preparing the way for us. We were (and still are) members of the same home church at Seattle Revival Center and both employed by Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. Prior to our first date, we were both preoccupied with all that life is. One day at work, Erin said, "I'm assigned to you"! I thought he meant KentHOPE, but he really meant ME! Erin also said, "We're going to have so much fun!" He was right. We have had so much fun, so much time to experience the comfort and love that we share together, and time to seek God and His plans for our lives. Proposal: On 5/5/19, after 1 year of courting, Erin proposed to Lisa at Lake Kathleen in Renton, Washington. This is the home of Lisa's brother and family. The proposal happened on the dock with Lisa's mom, brother and sister-in -law looking on from the deck. I'm pretty sure I just screamed what meant YEEESSSS!!! #maugasforever Marriage: As we plan for our marriage on 6/27/20, we are excited for all that God has for us as we become one flesh in Christ. We love God and we love people. We love family and friends. We love the mountains and we love the sea. We are blessed beyond measure and so in love. We thank God every day that we have found each other.
