Emily Elizabeth, best friend of the bride, is a pure light of love and levity. She is one of only 2 RAVENCLAW house members in the bridal party. Affectionately called EE by her friends she met Lisa in 2019 when they both joined the Walt Disney World College Program. Shoving 6 girls into a 3 bed apartment could have been a recipe for disaster. Instead a created a lifelong gift for our bride. The bride would like to thank EE for being there for her so whole heartedly within 48 hours of meeting. E, Our friendship was so natural and so easy and I know that you get me more than anything. I was so blessed to be in your bridal party when you married the love of your life. I could not share this day, this monumental love, this pure joy without you! I love you! Let’s do this!

Aryn Wallace

Bridesmaid

Sugar. Spice. Everything BRIGHT. Aryn is explosive. Her kindness knows no bounds and her personality is so large it is impossible not to be pulled into her gravity. The bride was lucky enough to live with her during the college program, and much like the matron of honor, Aryn and Lisa clicked permanently and immediately. The laughter shared in the first weeks of us being on our own drowned out the dull ache of the families we left behind for this adventure. Aryn could always be found at the head of the group, exploding with excitement and bounding with contagious joy. A natural leader she became a line captain for the NFL New Orleans Saints Dance Team and leads her line with a contagious smile that has a drive as powerful as her mind. The Bride would like to extend her heartfelt congratulations as Aryn and her partner Ben embark on the journey of PARENTHOOD this fall. It makes sense that this fiery girl is the bridesmaid who belongs to house GRYFFINDOR.

“Oh my god….they were roommates…..” Mandy and Lisa are twin flames. And thank goodness for that because they had to share a dorm room for nearly 2 years during the Disney College Program. Mandy has a heart that is SO large the bride can’t imagine seeing her do anything other than making magic at Disney World. This blonde bombshell puts everything she has behind those she cares about. Though she is soft spoken and compassionate, she has a fire burning in her heart that will put anyone to shame. Being cared for by Mandy means a confidant, protector, and advocate in your corner for life. She always has the best ideas and is always willing to lend an ear, and she and the bride seem to ALWAYS stay on the exact same page. We’re not saying it’s telepathy, but we aren’t denying it either. Feeling a little green with envy now reader? That is expected as Mandy belongs to House SLYTHERIN.

Mickaela Leong

Bridesmaid

Have you ever had the opportunity to meet a person who would meet you and immediately care for you like they would care for themselves? Mickaela’s heart is SO large. She welcomes any and all and is always the first in line to make someone feel welcome. She met the bride when they lived together during the Disney College Program and plenty of times since they have had the opportunity to challenge each other, support each other, and grow with each other. Mickaela is also a current bride to be, and Lisa feels so blessed to be going on this journey along side each other. Mickaela is a leader in all that she does, and she makes anyone feel equal and confident. She belongs to house RAVENCLAW.

Abigail Jacoba

Abby is one of the “adopted” roommates of Disney House 16104. She and bridesmaid mickaela came to the program already friends. Luckily Mickaela invited Abby along on a group trip to magic kingdom. It was like she’d been with the group the whole time. We were laughing and joking and learning all about each other. From that point on Abby was a pillar of support and honesty in our group. Nobody is more fiercely loyal to those they care about. She is confident and unafraid to say what’s on her mind and always there to do whatever she needs to help out. Including house calls for items the bride needed in her apartment but didn’t have. Lisa is so thankful to have met her and have another Hufflepuff in her group of forever friends.

Megan Kern

Bridesmaid

Meg and Lisa forged a bond that stretches back to Hiram College in Ohio. Before Lisa met Emilio, her Husband to be, she and Megan performed in the theatre department at Hiram together. 3 years of adventures started with a performance of hamlet and ended with a silly musical called Urinetown. In between they traveled to different countries, Cried through heartbreaks, and made some dumb (but pretty fun) decisions. Now, even 1500 miles apart Megan is a foundational piece of the bride’s heart. The bride would like to thank Megan (and the rest of The Stags) for making it apparent that no matter how distant we become we can pick up right where we left off. A fellow hufflepuff like the bride, Megan has a heart that expands over any and every person or creature she meets. Lisa feels blessed to know such a pure and wonderful soul. After passing the Bar Exam Meg went off and followed dreams she’s had for herself since she met Lisa. She will always be looked up to by the bride, who wouldn’t want to strive to be a perfectly wonderful person.

Karl Mahoney

Best Man

Karl is Emilio’s lifelong brother. Friends since they were children Emilio couldn’t imagine getting married without him. Karl belongs to house Gryffindor. When asked what his favorite friendship memory with Emilio was, he said “It has to be one of the first few times Emilio was back home while in the Navy. There was a visit when he brought Isabella over to our house and hung out for a while. This day I realized that Emilio was and was going to continue to be a great father. Watching the way he interacted with Izzy as a new new father was inspiring. As I have travelled my own path as a father looking back to Emilios example of what a father should be always warms my heart. I cannot think of a place I would rather be than beside my brother while "tying the knot" with the person who I truly believe has helped make him whole again. I am most excited to see the two of the most creative people I knows brain-child of a wedding. I am also excited to meet some more people from Gryffindor.

Dexter Taylor

Dexter is another House Gryffindor and childhood friend. He says “ I met Emilio when he was in the 7th grade, and I was in 8th. I will say this. I strongly believe his friendship shaped my life. When I was young, I grew up in a very religious household; watching VeggieTales and listening to Z88.3. Emilio gave me my first "worldly" cds. About 10 to 15 cds. All of a sudden, I was listening to everything from T-Pain and Don Omar to Evenesce and Disturbed. I felt like I had a very well-rounded taste in music. I had all of the cds given to me on rotation. I became obsessed with T-Pain. Enough that in my high school years, I joined dance class for 2 years, and I thought I wanted to be a DJ. I met some of my best friends because of my taste in music. Hell, I met my future wife-to-be in dance class. All because of that small little moment. And let's not forget him filling up my 15 dollar/2gb mp3. I am happy he has found someone to love him at his best and his worst. I am so proud of the man he has become, the family he has built, and the future ahead of him. I am excited about this wedding because I have never seen him happier. I know in my heart Lisa cherishes him and enjoys him. This wedding means someone has loved him enough to stay around forever, and I know he will make an amazing husband.”

Trevor rounds out the friend group as the Ravenclaw He wants To get ahead of the questions, “no, I did not participate in the fork hazing/branding ritual mentioned in Willie’s bio. A fond memory with Emilio was playing xbox, drinking energy drinks, and being hooligans in highschool. Im not one to have good memory as I often forget basic things, but I remember people's character, and Emilio is a great guy who will have your back and tell it to you straight. I couldn't be happier for him and Lisa.”

Willie Dennis

Willie is a childhood and lifelong best friend of the Groom. Emilio cannot imagine getting married without him. Willie belongs to house slytherin, and as such has plenty of fond and embarrassing memories with the groom and groomsmen. Willie has unfortunately been sent on a trip for the US Army and is unable to attend the wedding but the bride and groom are thankful for his endless support and joy. Willie recalls hanging out together and deciding to show their true dedication as friends by branding each other with forks. To this day willie, the groom, and others wear the scar from their first great bonding memory. When asked why Willie agreed to be a groomsman he said, “when your family asks you to do something as important as this you don't stop and ask question you just make it happen, I am so grateful 1 of my childhood best friends (the brother from another mother) bestowed this amazing honor upon me to let me be part of this amazing day. I'm so proud of the man you've become elmo and I'm so blessed that we have a new sister to add to the tribe of KPK. I'm just excited to have the whole gang back together as adults with our families as 1 as we watch you 2 become a party of 1. (Now let's PARTY!)

Aaron Is a proud Gryffindor. He says ‘One of my earliest memories with Emilio was back in 2008, I’m the new kid in the neighborhood, I get to the bus stop early in the morning to head to school and I’m talking to some of the guys, Emilio perplexed says to me “wait you’re in middle school??? I thought you were a dad??” Crazy… Flash 11years, I’m heading to a concert with my dear Bestie Lisa (did I mention I became best friends with the bride 1300 miles away in Ohio?, I told her I had to stop by and see Emilio on the way. When I get there I ask can Lisa come in he like sure, I introduced the two of them next thing we walk in his room right quick and then turns me saying “yooo, who is she??” Haha Gotem! Why agreed to be the Ordainer: Being asked to bring two important figures in my life in marriage, of course I couldn’t pass this level of love up. What I’m most excited about the wedding: “You may now kiss the bride”.

Thomas has graciously supported Emilio through his childhood and adult life. An avid CrossFit athlete, Thomas dedicates himself 100% to anything he does, including supporting the groom on his big day!
