FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lisa Van Loon and Dylan Callihoo
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is June 1, 2026. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We have to provide vendors with exact total guest count in a timely manner and hope you understand.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Although the ceremony starts at 3:00pm, we recommend that guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the official ceremony start time so you can get settled, enjoy refreshments and music before the proceedings.

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony location is outdoors. The reception is outdoors with covered seating area.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception location will have parking indicated by signs. If you plan to drink, we encourage you to bring your holiday trailer or sleeping bag and stay on the property!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! Dress code is semi-formal, because the venue is outdoors we recommend to leave the stilettos behind.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accomodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed within the invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love everyone's little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults with the exception of our immediate family members children. We hope you use our wedding as a fun date night!

Question

Is it a toonie bar?

Answer

We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you! Rather than a toonie bar we are having by donation! Whatever you want to contribute for the evening is very appreicated <3

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this day, after the ceremony we encourage you to take photos of our day!
