How We Met

Facebook Friends Since May 2011 | The Future Mr. and Mrs. Graf

It all began in a big house called The Zuzamen. Lisa moved in to be closer to school during her summer quarter at the University of Washington. Unbeknownst to Lisa, Rachael (Maid of Honor), talked her up to Dima, describing her as the "perfect girl" (no pressure). For Dima, it was love at first sight; but for Lisa, it would take a few years of friendship before the idea of a romantic relationship would be introduced.

The Proposal

An Italian Dream

If anyone knows Lisa, they know surprising her can be a challenge. That's why when Dima started to plan how he was going to propose, he knew he would have to plan something that she couldn't expect. He couldn't do it without a little help so he asked Edward (groomsmen) for some ideas. They settled on the thing she would least expect, a hike. Oh, not just any hike - The Walk of the Gods on the Amalfi Coast. 5,000 steps above the clouds is where Dima got on one knee, and where Lisa almost fainted from exhaustion (romantic, right?).
