We met in 2019 working at the same company. On Devon's first day, we bonded over cooking a spaghetti lunch for the residents (Devon says it was tacos). We quickly connected and secretly gave each other nicknames of work-wifey and work-bae. Through the adventures we shared that summer, our friendship grew into a relationship. We spent the summer visiting state parks, lakes, and coastal towns with Lily in tow, creating memories we'll look back on for a lifetime. Through the fall and winter, Lisa and Lily found joy in supporting Devon at his college track meets (Go Terriers!), where he dashed his way through school records and their hearts. Like the world, we had to adapt in 2020 so we took the time to hunker down and developed our love for game nights. Both being competitive by nature and Devon being naturally great at, well, everything, this led to a lot of disappointing losses for Lisa. We found strength in each other, and we survived. Through the years we have done weekend getaways to New Hampshire, camp in beautiful Steuben, and Boston. We have traveled to Colorado and Georgia. We put down roots in Hampden and bought a house. We have supported each other through our professional development. We discovered hobbies that we love to do together, golf and skiing. We have enjoyed so many memories with our loved ones. We have loved each other through losses and tough times. We set goals and crushed them. We celebrated new life in our families. We enjoyed celebrating our friends and familys marriages. We have had the adventure of a lifetime. We can't wait to see what this next leg of this journey brings us.
