When I think of the type of person that personifiess the essense of .......Best Man , I can think of no one that I would be prouder to have at my side during this special moment in my life . Alex was one of the biggest surprises in my life but one that has totally shared his life with me . If I do not answer his phone calls late at night to discuss sports , he will track me down and want an explanation. Our relationship is one that every Dad should experience because Alex has given me more than he will ever realize.

Walking the Bride Down The Aisle
My dad is not with us today to walk me down the aisle, but my son has agreed to do me the honor--- I know my dad would be proud of the person he has become. He is strong but sensitive and truly has a soft heart. It is more than I could ask to have him walk me down the aisle.

Judd Apatow look out-- the talents of my niece, Maggie Crady, will be used to memorialize the day's events. Maggie has been a producer and director in sports and news television and short films. She is a regional Emmy nominee whose most recent short film was featured at Indy's GenCon and several film festivals. She has also written, hosted and produced a science blog, "A Moment in Science." Plus, she has been a fan of the TV and movie screen she was 2.

This little girl was a big reason that Derrick and I started dating. He told me he watched Peony every week and I immediately became intrigued with him.... and so it began. Peony was always sure-minded and on the move. She has the same type of energy as a hummingbird, similar to her mom, grandfather and great-grandmother.

Sebastian is a sweet-natured child, with a large dose of mischief thrown in and with a head of hair to die for! He is very affectionate and always happy to be held and to give you a hug. He will add much adorableness to the ceremony.

Wise beyond his years, my oldest grandchild, Corbin, will be well adept at guiding the other grandchildren in the wedding party. He is confident and mature and has made me very proud. He has an inquisitive mind and never ceases to amaze me with his scientific interests.

Anabeth is a born leader who has no problem expressing herself--- she will be the perfect role model for the other flower girls. She loves animals and nature and also has a very big heart. Anabeth is very comical and has a dry wit, even at such a young age. She has a unique viewpoint and seems much older than her age.

Just as her namesake is widely cultivated for its bright showy flowers, little Zinnia is a sweetheart with beautiful curls. With her older siblings Corbin and Anabeth to help her grow and flourish.
