Like many modern love stories, ours began with a simple message but from the start, something about our connection felt anything but ordinary. What began as a few thoughtful conversations online soon led to our very first date: brunch at Hungry’s in Rice Village. Lisa arrived fashionably late (classic Lisa), but when we finally sat down across from each other, time seemed slow. A sunny walk through the trails near Rice University, and with every step, we realized we’d stumbled onto something truly special. Since then, we’ve shared adventures near and far—from taking our pups to Levy Dog Park, lounging on the beaches of Cancun, catching cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C., to hiking the scenic routes though national parks. Each trip, each laugh, each quiet moment has brought us closer falling more and more in love. One of the most meaningful chapters in our story happened on the rooftop of The Circa Hotel in Las Vegas. Under the city lights, with the skyline behind us and hearts full of hope, David got down on one knee. With Leo's ashes (Lisa's souldog) by his side, for the moment she had always dreamed of. Thus, making the proposal not only unforgettable but deeply sentimental and full of love. Now, we’re stepping into this next chapter together—excited for all that’s ahead.
