Where to Stay: The Morrison House Hotel does have a hotel block for the wedding weekend Friday and Saturday (Nov 11 - 13). Note: This hotel only has rooms with 1 King or Queen bed. If you require a room for more than two people, there are better hotel options. We recommend The Alexandrian Hotel - the sister property to the Morrison House. Feel free to stay anywhere you like. Most hotels around the Alexandria area are walkable or a short taxi drive. (Please see the FAQ page for the room block link).
flying here: Old Town Alexandria is closest to the Ronald Reagan International Airport. We highly recommend that you fly to and from this airport. If you land here at DCA, there is no need to rent a car or use taxis. There are Metro train options from the airport directly to Old Town.
Train: The Metro train runs from Old town to the Airport and Washington D.C. We highly recommend using the train system. Rental cars are not encouraged as driving and parking in the city can be difficult.
