We’re getting married!

Lisa and Brian met online - found each others' profiles in a sea of fish-holding bros and women looking for their 'partner in crime'. They started chatting and that went well, even after Lisa took an online dating break for her sister's wedding and Brian welcomed her back with a very nerdy joke about space. Who could resist that? So when he asked her out for tacos and Wonder Woman, Lisa broke her 'first date is drinks only' rule and said yes. He showed up slightly sunburned from a day full of softball and she showed up a little late because of who she is as a person. It was the longest first date she'd been on in ages, and it was still over too soon.

June 26th is Lisa's birthday, but it had only been a week since her first date with Brian - felt too soon to mention it, so she decided not to say anything when he texted asking if she had ever done an escape room. She hadn't, but wanted to, so he offered to buy them some tickets for one. For his birthday, which turned out to be on June 27th. And when she then had to weirdly explain that she hadn't mentioned it before but today was, in fact, her birthday, he made it a joint birthday gift to escape from Mars. The next evening, we escaped Mars (even after yes Lisa hit the self-destruct button but it turns out it was a necessary part of the escape storyline, so you're welcome). And despite her sister Jenna's warning by example, Lisa now lives in a world where her birthday ends sharply at midnight, and then she must pass the birthday baton to Brian. Just 24 hours of birthday, unless she plans out a two day birthday extravaganza, which is an appealing option.
