Our venue is less than an hour away from one of the most beautiful places in our state, if not country! Make a week of it and visit this Northern California gem! Water sports, hiking, fishing and more!

Visit this adorable and delicious local brewery while you’re in town. Tell them Lisa told you to try the IPA!
Truckee River
Rent a tube and float away! This experience is about an hour and a half away from our venue and well worth it!
Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club
Don’t forget your clubs! Play on-site or at one of the many beautiful courses in the area. Text or call Bill if you’d like to sign up for the Friday wedding tournament.
Reno
If the roulette wheel is more your style be sure to spend some time at the casinos in Reno! They do say it’s the “Biggest little city in the world”!
Lake Basin Recreation Area
About a 20-minute drive away at elevations of 6,500' to 8,000', the Lakes Basin Recreation Area is home to over 40 natural alpine lakes and 11,000 acres of wilderness, streams and trails including the Pacific Crest Trail. Gold Lake is easily accessible from the Highway or hike to a few of the Alpine lakes close by: Snake Lake or Rock Lake. Sand Pond is a great swimming hole and Lower Sardine Lake has breathtaking views of the Sierra Buttes.
Plumas-Eureka State Park
Rich in history, this State Park was once a bustling Mining town. Visit the Museum, hike around the old ski resort just past the town of Johnsville, visit Eureka Lake or take a swim in Jamison Creek.
