When should we arrive at the ceremony site?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm -- please arrive no later than 2:45pm to find a seat.

Where is the location of the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is in the Big Garden at Washington Park, which is on the northwest side of the park, approximately 50 yards west of the Washington Park Boathouse and just south of the lake. The closest major cross streets are S. Downing St. & E. Exposition Ave. Please SEE THE TRAVEL PAGE for an exact map location.

Where should we park?

Answer

There are two public parking lots located within Washington Park -- one just north of the Big Garden and a second located just east of the Boathouse. Both lots are easily walkable to the ceremony and reception sites.

What should we bring to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The summer sun in Colorado is intense, so we recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing sunglasses. We will have a water station at the ceremony site. And while the days are hot, the nights can get cool -- so consider bringing a light sweater for later in the evening.

What's with all the traffic?

Answer

Please keep in mind that traffic in Denver is usually heavy during the day, especially on the weekends near the park. You should allow plenty of travel time to account for traffic.

Can I take an Uber or Lyft to the ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely! And we encourage it! Simply type in the destination as "Big Garden, Denver, CO 80209" and you will be dropped off at the right spot.
