I already booked a room with the Hilton Woodcliff Lake, what do I do now that it's closing?

Answer

If you already booked a room with the Hilton Woodcliff Lake, please cancel that reservation. Then, book a new reservation at the Hampton Inn Paramus hotel. Due to the last minute, immediate closure of the Hilton Woodcliff Lake, we worked hard to find a nice hotel with a comparable cost structure in the area. We hope you are pleased with the Hampton Inn Paramus. It has all the same amenities as the Hilton (fitness center, pool, business center, etc.) and hope you will find your stay comfortable. Saturday rate: $159+tax Sunday rate: $139+tax

What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception venue? Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

All events will be held in 1 place - The Estate at Florentine Gardens, which is located at 97 Rivervale Road, River Vale, NJ 07675. There is no stair entry to all rooms. Note: The ramp located to the right / behind the coat check is the stair-free alternative to the ceremony and cocktail hour. It will take you to the same place as the main hallway!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Driving. If you drive, your car will be valet parked in an on-site lot at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. Good news - you can leave the umbrella in the car as there's an overhang to keep you dry in case it's raining. Note: If you booked a room in our block at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake, there will be a shuttle bus available.

Can I leave my car overnight at the venue?

Answer

Yes, you can. However, please ensure your car is parked as close to the building as possible for ease as there is 24 hour security / CCTV.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be indoors. If you have a coat or jacket with you, there will be a coat check available on the right-hand side as soon as you walk through the main lobby.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

There is a block of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn Paramus, which is located at 625 From Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652. Use the link in the "Travel" section of the webpage to book.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

No, there is no set dress code. However, it is a more formal event, and cocktail attire is suggested.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

From the moment you enter to the moment you leave, there will be LOTS of food and drinks available. We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Come hungry! Note: All cocktail hour dishes and dinner entrees are nut free.

Am I allowed to bring my child?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we are unable to accommodate them on our wedding day. We hope you can make arrangements and come celebrate with us at our adults only event. If you need a babysitter, we recommend Rachel Silberg (516-567-7597) & Sara Kay (973-494-6113) or weddingbabysitters23@gmail.com. They are experienced wedding babysitters who can provide all night care for children ages 0-12 years old right in your hotel room.

The wedding reception concludes at 11:30pm.

Will there be a time gap between the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

No, all events (wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) occur right after each other.

Am I allowed to take photos and video at your wedding?

Answer

Yes, feel free to take as many photos and video as you'd like, but please be mindful as to not disturb those around you.

Answer

No, unfortunately, there is no virtual component to our wedding.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will be Spring in New Jersey so anything goes! It could be warm or cool, so check your weather app before traveling.
