Lisa & Alan met on the "work" soccer team. Lisa had just moved to Pittsburgh and didn't know anyone. She was a bit shy on this new team (a surprise to all who know her), but after a few weeks she finally asked Alan to grab drinks after a game. He was "busy" the first few times Lisa tried to plan something, but she persisted and over five years & countless memories later, here we are.

Throughout our relationship, we have always loved traveling & scratching new locations off our map. We'd been trying to go to Europe since the Euro 2020 tournament, but with COVID making travel difficult, things kept getting canceled or delayed. When we finally made it across the ocean, Lisa scheduled a photoshoot to get pictures of us that weren't the usual selfies. She had no clue Alan had hijacked the photoshoot, contacted the photographer, and planned a surprise proposal with the view of the city in the background.
