How did David ask Lisa to marry him?

Answer

Lisa was going on a girls night to a speakeasy and thought that David was at home on the couch watching ESPN. What she didn't know was he was putting on a tux (and top hat!) and surprised her on stage in front of 200 people. "Lisa-Maree Diane Johnston Wallace, will you take my name as your 17th name..." If you haven't seen the video yet, ask them to share!

Why get married so quickly?

Answer

I mean, after 7 years we are not sure anyone can accuse us of getting married quickly. ;) We knew that we wanted to get married in Seattle in the summer so when David proposed in June we got to work!

Why Seattle?

Answer

Seattle is where David grew up- and once he moved to California to attend UCLA he didn't get the opportunity to have big milestone events in Seattle. Plus, Lisa loves Seattle (in the summer!) as well and since we go up there every summer it was the perfect opportunity!

Why Westland Distillery?

Answer

I mean, who doesn't love some good whiskey? Plus we loved the idea of getting married in the barrel room (which is beautiful), but the place allowed for a casual atmosphere that isn't "wedding stuffy".
