This is only a couple of miles past the wedding location, and also where we had our engagement pictures done! It was a railroad bridge that went across a valley built in 1882 and rebuilt in 1959. In 2003, restoration began on the bridge but a tornado there through the valley, leaving most of what was left on the valley floor. The rubble is still there, and there is a "skywalk" out over the valley complete with a glass floor and lookout. If heights aren't your thing, no worries! There is also a free museum in the visitor's center.
Our favorite spot to enjoy a drink and hang out! Their wine tasting selections are fantastic. If you love wine, and you love iced tea, try our favorite; Summer Brew.
