Semi-Formal Wedding Dress Code This indicates the wedding will likely be held outdoors and will not be entirely formal but still elegant. That said, jeans, shorts, and tank tops are not appropriate. For the Ladies Try a cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top. An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate. Floor-length gowns, however, would be inappropriate. Pair with heels, nice wedges , elegant flats or dressy sandals but flip flops and sneakers are not appropriate. For the Men Wear dress pants or khaki pants with a collared shirt. You can add a tie or sport jacket if you'd like, but it's not required. If it's chilly, feel free to add a jacket, as well. Steer clear of any t-shirts, tennis shoes or sandals.
The ceremony will be held at Weddings at Chilleens in Black Canyon City, AZ. Address is located in the 'Schedule' tab.
The reception is being held in the same location as the ceremony about 50 ft away :)
The reception will end roughly around 10:00 pm, however, you are not expected to stay the entire duration if you don't want to.
Absolutely! We do ask that you tag either the Bride and/or Groom so we can share the captured memories on our special day :)
We are opting out of the traditional registry, however, we are looking into a honeymoon registry for guests to pitch in for that in lieu of actual gifts. If you'd prefer to gift a card with cash or check, those are also gladly accepted.
There is a vegetarian option available that will be included when the invitations get sent out.
The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors (ceremony uncovered, reception partial covered). If there happens to be unfortunate weather, there is an indoor reception hall to continue on the festivities.
As much as we would love to watch the children play, this will be an adult only type of day :) Exceptions made for the Bride and Grooms immediate family.
Parking for wedding guests will be located at the back of the venue. If it gets full, there will be available parking in front of the restaurant.
The Hampton Inn Anthem will provide group discounts on 10 rooms or more. More details are in the 'Trave' tab.
The wedding will start approximately 4:30 pm so anywhere between 4:00 pm and 4:25 pm to pick a seat.
