What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! You may want to bring a jacket or a light sweater with you, in case it’s a bit chilly in Ithaca. But most importantly, wear whatever is comfortable for you. There will be dancing, so keep that in mind when deciding what shoes of yours to wear!

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Our reception will have a cocktail hour, a buffet-style dinner, and of course, plenty of cake! Dinner will be served by Luna Street Foods. P.S.: Please reach out to one of us if you have any allergies or dietary needs you would like us to know about.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar! We will have wine, beer, hard seltzer, and cider options for anyone who is interested. So make sure you have a designated driver if you plan on having a drink.

Will I be able to walk around the museum during the reception like normal?

Answer

Absolutely! There are lots of cool exhibits at the Museum Of The Earth-- from dinosaurs to the coral reef-- and you will be able to walk around and check them out during the reception. The museum also has a quiet space by the mastodon and the coral reef tanks, for anyone who needs a minute to decompress.

Yes, Courtney has decided to take Max's last name.

Will there be a bridal shower?

Answer

We don't have plans for a bridal shower at this time, since we currently live out of state in Boston, and all of our loved ones are spread out elsewhere across the country. But we look forward to seeing everyone at the wedding!
