Starting to date after a walk with Henri around the Logan Circle neighborhood in Washington, D.C., Rachael and Lior could (almost) immediately agree on one thing: Henri is king, first of his name, and he will always be ruler of the household. With that understanding, Rachael and Lior spent the next several years traveling, rocking out at concerts, eating their way through the District and beyond, and watching their friends and family get married and start families. Finally, catching on to the trend, Lior devised a plan: Rachael and Lior flew down to Nashville so Rachael could show Lior her favorite places from her time at Vanderbilt University. After a day of scootering down memory lane, the couple went to see their favorite band: Delta Rae. After soulful songs about heartbreak, loves loved and lost, and living a long and happy life, the band called Rachael and Lior to the stage, where Lior asked Rachael to spend My Whole Life Long with him. Thankfully, video evidence shows that Rachael said yes. Knowing the special place that South Carolina holds in both of our hearts, we knew it would be the best location for our wedding, and we cannot wait to say our vows under the beautiful Palmetto trees in Rachael’s hometown of Hilton Head Island. So to you, our closest family and friends, we ask that you join us to ring in the new decade at our New Year’s Eve wedding.
