We’re getting married!

We met while we were both working at Chili's. What started off as co-workers and friends, soon turned into something more... and the rest is history!

Lionel had told Nicole his "friend" had a photography business and asked them to be a models. Lionel took Nicole to Battery Spencer in San Fransisco to have the "photoshoot". The photoshoot went as planned, until the photographer asked Nicole to put a blindfold on to do a "trust fall" shot. While Nicole was hesitant, she did not want to be a "party pooper" in Lionel's friend's shoot, so she obliged. Unknown to Nicole, as she had her blindfold on, family and friends were surrounding the area in order to be present for the big moment. Once everyone had arrived, the photographer instructed Nicole to take her blindfold off. Once the blindfold was off, Nicole found Lionel down on one knee and he asked her to marry him. Nicole instantly broke out in tears and gave him a huge hug while saying "yes!". All of a sudden Nicole realized all the friends and family surrounding them and cheering them on. It was a true surprise and blessing to have our most important people present for the most important day of our lives to date!
