I'M READY TO CELEBRATE! WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

CHECK YOUR PASSPORT! Your passport must be valid 6 months after return date. Every guest (even babies) must have a valid passport. You will need this to board your flight and to return back into the US. The resort will also ask for your passport when you check in for your stay. Please check that your passport is good at least until November 2024! Look over the room types and pricing, then book your room with a $1 deposit IMMEDIATELY! The best way to get it right is to text Linzy's mom, Kim. She will likely respond quickly. The TRAVEL page has details about the room types that are left, but Kim is keeping up with what is available. We hope you will stay the entire week (Feb 26-March 4 with us). Decide on your dates, and if you want a basic or bougie room- then shoot Kim a text. Again, $1 holds your room until Christmas Day. Kim 214-797-8378

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY ROOM?

BOOK NOW! This resort regularly books up, and we chose the promo code option over blocking rooms to save our guests money. WHAT ARE THE ROOM RATES?

See the discounted rates for each room category in the picture above. You must use our discount code to receive these rates. You can explore the various room categories on the Finest website under the 'SUITES' tab. There are many other room categories available at the resort. The sooner you book, the better room options and availability there will be. The resort requires a minimum stay of 3 nights when using the discount code. Below is an example of the rates of the most affordable room available at the resort. Please note the rates are *per person, per night*. Junior Suite Spa or Pool View $372/night per person for 1 guest in a room (total for 3 nights would be $1,116 total) $248/night per person for 2 guests in a room (total for 3 nights would be $744 per person - $1488 room total) $236/night per person for 3 guests in a room (total for 3 nights would be $708 per person - $2124 room total) We recommend staying AT LEAST 3-4 nights to make the most of your trip and enjoy all that the resort and Cancun have to offer! We are staying Monday through Monday (Feb 26-March 4). We hope that you can make a real vacation of it and stay the whole week! WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO BOOK? The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is Christmas Day, 2023. Any modifications after this date will cancel your current reservation and you will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which may be much higher. Also, make sure your card on file has not expired as your card on file will be charged ~30 days before your arrival. Your reservation will be canceled if your payment is declined due to your card on file being expired.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE RESORT?

Our wedding is on Thursday FEBRUARY 29, 2024. Please plan to arrive at least by Wednesday FEBRUARY 28, 2024. Please take into consideration the possibility of flight delays or flight cancellations when booking flights. We'd hate for you to miss out on celebrating with us! Also, please be sure to check the Schedule tab for a list of events so that you can plan your trip accordingly. We will be there partying all week (Monday, FEB 26 until Monday, March 4th) and hope that you will too.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FINEST SUITES AND FINEST CLUB LEVELS?

Finest Playa Mujeres is a luxury resort, so you will not feel like you are missing out by booking one of their standard rooms (Finest suites). -Finest Suites - The resorts standard room level. Adults and kids allowed. -Finest Club - Family club level. Adults and kids allowed. Upgraded in-room premium liquor & wine bottle selection, private pool bar, VIP toiletries, private lounge with concierge service, private beach area, Nespresso machine, daily fruit & petit fours in room, fresh flowers and sparkling wine upon arrival and more. We have heard that the pools may be better heated in the higher levels. Club level offers extras like drinks service to your private swimming pool and is closer to the beach. Beach beds are reserved for Finest Club too. It is the same beach though. Either level will be great! CAN I BOOK THE NON-REFUNDABLE OPTION?

Answer

Yes you can, but be advised that (1) you will not receive any money back if you need to cancel for any reason, (2) you will not be able to modify your reservation at all and (3) you will be charged the full amount at the time of booking. We are asking all of our guests to use our Promo Code and book the EVENTS RATE + FREE TRANSFER option because it will include free cancellation up until 24 hrs from arrival and free transportation to/from the airport. We would hate for you to lose any money if you have to cancel your stay.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

The resort is all inclusive which means the following is included in the per person price- Food- All meals, snacks and beverages (including alcohol) There are 12 restaurants, 1 coffee/dessert bar, 15 bars, and room service too! Activities - 12 pools, daily/nightly live performances, a fitness center, paddle boarding, kayaking, cooking lessons, and yoga classes are all included. Please Note: Spa treatments and motorized water sports (jet skis and boating) are not included. Using our promo code (on the Hotel + Travel page) to reserve your room will allow you access to 10% off any spa treatments at the resort. Wedding Events - You will have access to all wedding events we will host at the resort. Airport Transportation - You will be picked up from the airport once you arrive and also dropped off at the airport at the end of your trip by the resort's transfer company, Seasons Transfers. We will send the transfer company one spreadsheet with everyone's flight information.

DO I NEED TO TIP?

Answer

Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff, so you are not obligated to tip the staff. However, if you feel your server/bartender/room service, etc. has delivered exceptional service, then absolutely feel free to tip at your discretion!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

For the wedding, we want you to wear your dancing shoes or no shoes at all! Keep in mind that our very expensive photographer will be documenting your outfit choice for the ages! Beachy party fun attire is fine throughout most places in the resort. In the more upscale restaurants, they say the dress code is Dinner Regular Casual: For Ladies: Long pants, Capri pants, skirt and blouse, or dress. For Gentlemen: Shorts, Bermudas, or long pants. Dress shirt, collarless shirt, or polo shirt. Casual shoes or nice sandals must be worn. Sleeveless t-shirts, tank tops, and beach sandals, or flip flops are not allowed.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Answer

Fly into Cancun Airport. As long as you have informed the resort of you flight, you will be picked up at the airport and delivered to the resort. Airport transfers both ways are included in your "all inclusive". AA appears to have cheaper flights from Dallas if you aren't checking bags.
