Emmanuel and Lintzy’s journey began in Pineview Middle School, where a childhood crush grew from P.E. races and walks to the bus. They drifted apart after summer, only to reconnect as high-school freshmen. Sharing friends and memories — including dancing together at Lintzy’s quinceañera — their spark returned. Life pulled them in different directions again, and they went three years without speaking. But fate stepped in at their high-school graduation, where one unexpected reunion turned into long conversations, fun nights out, and eventually a love that came back stronger than ever. After eight wonderful years together, Emmanuel asked for Lintzy’s family’s blessing. On 12/16/2024, he met with her parents, sisters, and brothers-in-law to ask for their support before proposing. Then, on New Year’s Eve 2024, aboard a cruise ship with the ocean behind them, he proposed. Lintzy said yes — and they welcomed the new year as future husband and wife.
