We have a very romantic story about meeting! Just kidding.. We met at my parents house in their kitchen because my friends and I decided to have a little party while my parents were out of town (silly teenager shenanigans). We talked the next day then saw each other the following weekend and our crazy story goes on from there. It was quite the roller coaster, but it only made our relationship and love stronger than ever!
Peter and I had gone to his cousins wedding the month before in Milwaukee and just fell in love with the city, so we decided shortly after that we wanted to go back and take our friends/family with! Little did I know, this trip that we were taking with our friends and family would change my life forever. We got an Airbnb and stayed there the whole weekend. Saturday we went to the aquarium at the discovery center. Peter was 10 steps ahead of me the whole time and of course I was getting annoyed.. Then he asked me to take a picture with him in the tunnel at the aquarium and while we are standing there smiling at the cameras he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!! I do have to add, while we were standing there "just taking a picture" I totally knew something was up because his arm was shaking uncontrollably while it was around me. It was truly amazing and I love that he got our friends and family together as well!! We celebrated with dinner and drinks after and we were also blessed with our beautiful baby boy 9 months later. :)
