Linnea and Scott first met back in 2018 — in Linnea’s townhouse kitchen, of all places! Although they both grew up in the Portland area and even attended the University of Oregon at the same time, their paths had never crossed. Scott was friends with two of Linnea’s roommates from work, and through hanging out with them, he met Linnea. At the end of 2020, Linnea took an extended trip to Austin, TX. She invited several friends to visit during her stay, and Scott was one of them. The following spring after that trip, they became roommates with two others (plus seven pets!). When their lease in Oregon ended, they split off from their roommates and moved up to Seattle together as friends. Both worked remotely for the same company and spent countless hours working side by side, chatting, and exploring their new city. Before long, they realized they liked each other a bit more than just coworkers, roommates, or friends — and started dating! After two wonderful years in Seattle, they bought their first home and moved down to Vancouver, WA to be closer to family. In late 2024, during a trip back to Seattle, Scott proposed to Linnea in the city where they fell in love. Now, they’re so excited to tie the knot and celebrate with their favorite people on July 18th, 2026!
