Glacier National Park
Glacier is the thing that we love most about living here in the summer. You can hike or simply drive to the summit of Logan Pass for a great experience! A couple of tips: ~If you want to get into the park you need a vehicle reservation and a National Parks pass. Find information about the vehicle reservations in the link below. ~If you would like a quick hike with fantastic bang for your buck, Hidden Lake and Avalanche Trail are great options!
Lone Pine State Park
This is a trail that we do multiple times a week in the summer! You can either drive to the top or start at the bottom and do a 2.5-4 mile loop depending on the trail you pick. ~Hot tip: Cole proposed here after going up Cliff Trail if you can find it.
Whitefish Mountain Resort
Our home ski resort with phenomenal views. No need to hike with this one, you can simply purchase a lift ticket upon arrival for the scenic ride to the top!

Whitefish Lake
Whitefish Lake is a great option if you're looking to escape the heat, and is Linnea's favorite for paddle boarding in the summer. Public beaches can be found at City Beach and Les Mason State Park.
