What about the ceremony?

Answer

We opted in for a private ceremony in Hawaii but look forward to celebrating with you all!

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

If you are driving into the city, please review a link to the parking garage on the travel page. Overnight parking can get expensive, so we recommend taking the train in if you are staying more than one night.

Do you have any hotel blocks?

Answer

Due to the overwhelming number of hotels and other options for accommodations in Manhattan, we do not have any blocks. Check out the travel page for our recommendations or feel free to reach out.

What's the food and drink situation?

Answer

We will be serving heavy appetizers at our reception, so please plan on eating a little something before you arrive. Nothing beats a New York slice. Our venue will also have an open bar, serving beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, etc.

Food Allergies or Dietary Restrictions

Answer

Please let us know in your RSVP if you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, especially those impacted by cross-contamination.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no strict dress code, we have indicated cocktail and garden attire, but please wear what makes you feel your best!

Bathrooms

Answer

Our venue features gender neutral restrooms for all attendees during our reception. We know our wonderful guests share our commitment to ensuring everyone feels welcome on our special day.

Will the reception be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both! The Broken Shaker has both indoor and outdoor sections, with a bar located in each. Be sure to check out the views from outside to see some of New York City's most iconic buildings.
