Desperate for a new boba shop at the University of Minnesota, Linli was ecstatic to find that Kung Fu Tea (KFT) was newly opened. With only one 5-star Yelp review written by "Jonathan Lin" stating the origins and facts of KFT and Taiwan history, Linli was convinced that Jonathan was a paid fake reviewer... only to learn a week later that he was, in fact, real, and a pharmacy classmate. Bonded through their mutual love for boba and newfound love for hiking, the rest is history.
Jonathan and Linli planned a spontaneous trip to Alaska with a large group of college friends. They were met by 20 hours of daylight and gorgeous rolling mountains. With the proposal completely unbeknownst by Linli, she single-handedly ruined every single one of Jonathan's proposal plans with last minute event changes. Stressed and anxious, Jonathan was finally able to propose at the top of a hike on their very last day, called Crow Pass Cabin. The answer was "yes, yes, and yes, 1000 times over again, yes."
