It was just a normal evening at Tip it Back Sports Bar in April 2023 when Simon walked straight up to a table full of women to introduce himself and confidently shoot his shot. Emily ignored him at first—because she had a plan, and this man was not on it. Fortunately for her, Simon is persistent, charming, and wildly convincing. One date later, we were stuck like glue. From the start, life together has been loud, fun, dramatic (in the best way), and occasionally chaotic. We’ve have been through some heartbreaking ups and downs, but in the end, we found our way back to each other as two people dedicated to nothing short of forever with one another. Emily has long been obsessed with aviation. Tracking planes, watching runways, knowing exactly what’s landing where at all times—it’s a lifestyle. So when Simon proposed on November 15, 2025, on a balcony in Atlanta overlooking a glowing runway as planes took-off and landed, it was nothing short of perfect. Romantic. Thoughtful. Extremely on brand. We’re both extra, outgoing, and never do anything halfway. We love traveling, laughing way too hard, and making memories everywhere we go.
