We Are Tying The Knot!!

David and Lini have both been lucky enough to have lived in lots of different places in their life, Scotland, England, Sweden & Australia but it was the USA that proved the luckiest of all. While both were living in Boston they met at a small little bar in Harvard Square called Noir - David says Lini was especially lucky that David waited hours for Lini to show up. Lini says the more he tells the story, the longer the wait becomes, but what counts is that they met and both quickly realized that this was the person they had been waiting all their lives for. Their love story continues now with the joining of their lives in front of family and friends.

Lini and David were having Christmas celebrations in Scotland and as it tends to happen there were drinks and good times had by all. So it wasn't a big surprise when David invited Lini on a wee road trip up to Loch Lomond to celebrate her birthday with a nice lunch and a walk. What was a surprise was that David kept behaving oddly. Now David is normally as graceful as a swan but this was strange even for him. He was awkward and clumsy, spilling his drink all over the table, and not saying much. The lack of talking was what got Lini really confused but as they walked down to the beach on the bonny bonny banks of Loch Lomond, she realized why he was acting so strange. David got down on one knee and proposed...both were so emotional they don't really remember exactly what was said but they are both sure she said yes. It was perfect.
