We’re getting married!

It all started in high school history class, where a friendship quickly turned into something more. Thomas was on the varsity football team, and Sammy was on the varsity dance team, so we spent countless Friday nights under the stadium lights, never knowing that years later, we’d still be cheering each other on through life. When Sammy left for Texas Tech her freshman year, we took on the challenge of long distance. But one year apart was enough, Thomas transferred to Tech the following year, and we made Lubbock our home together. During our time in Lubbock, we added two four-legged best friends to our little family, Nova and River, who have been by our side through every adventure. After trying to find the perfect place to settle down, we moved to Belton, Texas, to start the next chapter of our lives. We bought our first home together and have loved making it our own, creating new memories, and settling into a city that already feels so special to us. A couple of months later, during Sammy’s family vacation to the Bahamas, Thomas got down on one knee at sunset on the beach and Sammy said yes! Now, after eight amazing years together, we can’t wait to say “I do” and start this next chapter of our lives as husband and wife. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with friends and family, both those who have been with us since the beginning and those we’ve met along the way. The best is yet to come! - Sammy & Thomas
