Things To Do
These are a few cool things to do in the area recommended by locals. And restaurants we enjoyed going to. It’s a great place to get outside and explore or go out to eat and enjoy the town!
Lookout Mountain Incline Railway

It was closed when we went to visit, but this was highly recommended by locals!
Rock City Gardens
1400 Patten Road, Lookout Mountain, GA 30750
Another local favorite! Rock City Gardens has underground waterfalls, a view where you can see 7 states, and lots of beautiful landscapes
Walnut Street Bridge
1 Walnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403
This bridge separates downtown Chattanooga with the North Shore. It goes right over the river, it’s great for a stroll, to take in the sunset or get to Coolidge Park or Renaissance Park.

Kayaking or paddle boarding down the river, this is a rental place just under the bridge with easy access to their board launch. The water may be cold, but still lots of fun!
