We’re getting married!

The invisible string theory connects those who are meant to be together- a thread that can stretch, tangle, and wind through time and distance, but never break. In 2022, Jenna made the decision to start her journey as a travel nurse. She set out with the intention of living a life defined by packed suitcases and new zip codes. Love wasn’t exactly on the itinerary. She was focused on caring for patients, exploring new cities, and collecting memories along the way. Jenna made the decision to take an assignment in Sacramento where she had the opportunity to live with a close friend from college named Sarah. After a few weeks of getting settled into a new job and new home, that invisible string started to tug. At the time, Hunter had his routine down to a science: work, gym, family, friends, repeat. Love wasn’t something he was chasing; he figured it would come along when it was meant to. It was July of 2022- the month that his friend from high school, Sarah, was born. That meant that week long celebrations would be taking place (if you know Sarah, you know). Sarah had planned a birthday dinner to kick off her celebratory weekend. It was at that birthday dinner that Jenna and Hunter met for the first time. What started as a simple hangout to celebrate a mutual friend quickly became something much deeper. They continued the celebrations that weekend and went on their first date that following Monday. What started as an easy conversation quickly turned into something neither of them saw coming. Jenna brought adventure and light into his steady world; Hunter gave her a sense of home no matter where she was. Looking back, it’s almost as if that string had been weaving their lives closer for years- through shared friends, overlapping events, and perfect timing that could only be described as divine intervention. Now, with every new chapter they begin together, Jenna and Hunter can see that the invisible string was never really invisible after all- it was guiding them to a lifetime of love. Somewhere between the miles, the laughter, and the late-night talks, Hunter and Jenna realized that sometimes the best things in life don’t happen when you plan them.
