After 4 years of going to the same church, Lindy and Joe had never met. In May of 2024, Lindy was graduating college and God decided it was time for her to meet her soulmate too. She started noticing the "cute sound guy" as she referred to him to pretty much anyone who would listen to her. For months, she tried to talk to him but couldn't find an opening. Can you believe it would be so difficult in a small church like ours? Anyway, she finally reached out to her good friends Paula and John, who led her small group and had tried setting her up with people in the past to no avail. Lindy told them it was their time to shine, and she had her eyes set on someone special. Paula called Tim, Tim called Joe, and Joe reached out to Lindy on Instagram! They started talking that day and never stopped. They fell more and more in love each day and it became obvious that Lindy's crush was not so random afterall. The Lord had blessed them by bringing them together at just the right time and place. Joe proposed on September 13th, 2025 on their one-year anniversary trip after months of planning and picking out the perfect ring for Lindy. Now, they are planning their wedding and feeling so overjoyed by the love they've received and continue to receive from all of their friends and family.
