It's Happenin'!

I had started at Aureus Medical Nov. 2014 and worked with Bran's mom, Kym. Brandyn worked at the Wells Fargo right across the street and would come in and bring Momma Kym flowers and lunch. I had made a comment to Momma Kym that I thought her son was handsome and she, being the protective momma she is, was not about it. I continued to joke with her about Bran throughout the year but nothing ever came of it. Fast forward to Christmas 2015, my girlfriend Aubrey is in the Air Force and she was limited on the time she could hang over the holidays; her only free night was Christmas. I had planned to spend more time with the fam Christmas Eve and Day so I could go out with her that night. This was not normal for us, I had never gone out on Christmas day before so definitely a one off. We head downtown and the only bar open is Parliament, which I had maybe been to twice before. We head in, get some drinks and meander around. Maybe a half hour later, I spotted Brandyn and told Aubrey I had this ongoing little crush on him the past year. I stop in my tracks to go towards him, get his attention and extended my hand and said, "My name's Lindy, I work with your mom" haha what a line! After that, the rest is history and we've been in love ever since.
