Desert Botanical Garden
The Desert Botanical Garden is home to thousands of plants native to the Sonoran Desert. You will see it on just about any trip site to visit in Phoenix.
Phoenix Zoo
According to their Facebook page, the Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest non-profit zoo in the US with more than 3000 animals!
Sedona
If you are extending your stay in Arizona, Sedona is one place we highly recommend. It is our favorite destination for a day trip or overnight from Phoenix. The red rocks are stunning and was where we did our engagement photoshoot. Definitely worth a stopover if you are driving up to the Grand Canyon during your visit.
Old Town Scottsdale
Just around the corner from our venue, Old Town Scottsdale has lots of restaurants, shopping, bars, and nightlife. It is a lovely place to walk around day or night.
Camelback Mountain
Ted's favorite hike in Arizona. A fairly short but very steep and challenging climb with great views of the whole city of Phoenix. Note that it is quite a strenuous climb, but worthwhile for those seeking a challenge.
