As the end of college approached for these two complete strangers in 2016, Lindsey and Zach were both excited to begin their careers at Cerner Corporation in Kansas City. Little did they know they'd be beginning so much more. On the first day of training, Zach and Lindsey sat in the same row. As the orientation group began hanging out more outside of work, they realized that maybe there was a connection there. It wasn't long before Zach asked Lindsey out on their first date to a tiny Ramen shop in KC. The rest is history!

In preparation to move to Minneapolis in April 2021, Zach and Lindsey took a trip to see the townhouse they would be moving into and drop off a load of items. As Zach was walking Lindsey through the townhome, when they came to their balcony on the top floor, he started talking abnormally formally. It was just as Lindsey had realized something was up that Zach got down on his knee and asked Lindsey to be his forever love. She obviously said of course!
