FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our wedding, the attire will be semi-formal/cocktail. Think cocktail dresses or suit and tie (jackets optional).

Question

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

Most of the event will be inside, but the doors will be open during cocktail hour and reception for guests who would like to wander outside as well.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event with the exception of children included in the wedding party or those in our immediate family. Due to COVID concerns, this was a vital decision in paring down our numbers to make this a safe and relaxing event for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of COVID concerns, and in order to stay on budget, we have a strict guest list and are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What COVID precautions will be taken at the wedding?

Answer

First and foremost, it is our suggestion and hope that all guests who choose to attend will have received their COVID-19 vaccination. If you are unable to get your shot, we believe that the wisest decision you could make would be to remain home and keep yourself safe. We also continue to encourage the use of face masks whenever possible, especially when approaching vendors.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Most importantly know you will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is a large parking space directly in the front of the venue for your convenience. Parking for guests is free.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures for about an hour. Guests can remain at the venue, using the front seating space as well as the exterior of the venue for their cocktail hour while the ceremony space is restructured for the reception to follow.

Question

Will there be food and drinks at the reception?

Answer

Following cocktail hour appetizers, wood-fired pizza, salad, and bread will be provided at the reception.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Pizza options will include vegetarian choices. If you have a gluten allergy, please let us know when you RSVP so we can give a count to our caterer to bring the correct amount of gluten-free dough necessary. For any other specific allergies, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assure you a safe option as well.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered with Zola. The link to the registry can be found on this website at the top of the page.

Question

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

YES! Our only request is that you please use our hashtag, #LindseyTakesTheMike so we can keep track of all of your pictures and not miss a moment of our special day!
