FAQs

Question

When is your RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 21st.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, but guests are strongly encouraged to arrive by 4pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Traditional men's semi-formal attire is primarily two-piece or three-piece suits (often in navy, charcoal, or black) with button-down dress shirts. Ties are optional but encouraged. Traditional women's semi-formal attire includes midi or maxi dresses with heels or dressy flats. Ceremony and cocktail hour may be outside on a grassy lawn, so use caution with high heels!

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be on the lawn of the estate along the Delaware River. Cocktail hour will take place both on the lawn and throughout the Glen Foerd mansion. Please take the time to explore the historic rooms and upstairs gallery! The reception will take place in a heat-controlled tent on the estate grounds.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

The Accommodations & Travel section of our site has information on our available hotel blocks. If you are planning on staying at one of these hotels, please be sure to book your room by September 23rd. If you are planning on staying at an AirBnB, feel free to reach out to us for suggestions!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is valet parking available onsite at Glen Foerd. Both hotel blocks will also have shuttles or buses available for guests who do not wish to drive.
