Alternative Lodging

Please note that we will have an organized shuttle to and from the Hampton Inn in Ashland. We recommend staying there, however, if you would like to plan to stay elsewhere in the Richmond area, you are welcome to do so. Please plan accordingly to Uber from your hotel/airbnb to the Hampton Inn in Ashland to catch the shuttle or to be responsible about your alcohol consumption if you plan to drive. Ubers will most likely not be able to drive to the venue itself, and the roads coming back at night are very dark.

Flight Information

The nearest airport is Richmond International Airport (RIC). An Uber ride to the Ashland or Downtown Richmond area should be 25-30 minutes long.

Local Attractions

We recommend staying in Ashland, which is about halfway between the City of Richmond and the venue in Milford. Ashland has a very cute Main Street with nice restaurants and is about 20-25 minutes from downtown Richmond. Plus, you can see where Justin proposed right outside of the Henry Clay Inn. If you plan to venture into the city, we recommend checking out any of the following: - Museum District and The Fan, which are historic neighborhoods with great food and pretty places to walk around. - Carytown for shopping and good restaurants. - Scott’s Addition for breweries and even more restaurants. - Maymont Park - Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens - Virginia State Capitol
