2015 was undoubtedly one of the best years of my life. Spring semester of college was in full swing at Texas State. The first time I ever laid eyes on Lindsey was when her cousin, Stuart, and I were on our way to the KA house and we ended up running into cousin Blythe and Lindsey. A few months went by and we were officially introduced at a KA bonfire party on January 25, 2015. Lindsey became my girlfriend a few short weeks later on February 11. We haven't looked back since. God blessed me this woman at a time I least expected. Throughout our college career the amount of memories we made together were some we would never forget and brought us closer together as a couple. One of those was our baby husky, Maui, who definitely kept us on our toes day in and out. Everyone I brought Lindsey around seemed to love her instantly. She was always funny, loving, and giving in whatever she did. So much so that my fraternity gave her an award.... twice... There was and is now never a shortage of laughs, excitement, or dull moments. School finally came to an end, and even though we had to go our separate ways, we continued to see each other as much as possible. Long distance was definitely one of the hardest obstacles we have had to overcome as a couple. Lindsey eventually moved to San Antonio. While trying to start our careers right out of college we were meant to be together. On November 1st, she said, "I do" and it was one of the happiest days of our lives! Lindsey Noel Holifield, you have been the single most amazing blessing in my life and I am glad you drove my truck home that night. I will never forget the memories we have shared together and look forward to the memories we will get to make together as husband and wife. I love you and cannot wait for you to be Mrs. Chuber. #CheersToTheChubers
