In September 2017, Lindsey and Travis met online and chatted for a few weekends before deciding to meet at a party Lindsey was throwing at her house. Travis attended with his best friend, Alex, who served as “buffer” for the evening. Although the party was poppin’, nerves set in, and Lindsey did not speak to Travis much. After the party, Lindsey and Travis continued corresponding but at the end of Dec 2017, they temporarily halted their communication. Or, as Travis would say, “Lindsey ghosted him.” **Ghosted (def): The ceasing of communication with someone without notice.

One day in July 2018, Travis receives a text from Lindsey. A simple “Hi” was sent in hopes that he still had her number and didn’t have a girlfriend. Lindsey was happy to learn that he DID still have her number and he did not have a girlfriend. So, later that week, they went on their second first date and the rest is history.

The day started like any other. Travis, Lindsey, and friends were getting ready to go to the A.B.A.T.E Christmas party. After being there for a while, the band took a break. Lindsey went into the bathroom and thought she could hear her name and someone calling her over the speakers. As Lindsey came out she saw Travis up on the stage. He had Lindsey come up, made a lovely speech, and got down on one knee. 💍
