FAQs

Question

Are there any events besides the wedding that I am invited to attend?

Answer

We invite all of our guests to attend Welcome Drinks at the Lilac Inn on Friday night beginning at 8pm and ending at 10:30pm. We will be providing drinks and light appetizers.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

For Welcome Drinks, the attire will be casual. For the day of the wedding, the attire will be semi-formal. Ladies - when choosing which shoes to wear, please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place in the grass and the reception will take place on a cobblestone-type patio area.

Question

What is semi-formal attire?

Answer

For gentlemen: a suit and tie! For ladies: cocktail dresses and jumpsuits!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered with Target, Williams Sonoma, and Zola. Please see the "Registry" tab on this website for more information. On the "Registry" tab, there is a link for "Other Registries" where you will find links to the Target and Williams Sonoma registries.

Question

Is there transportation to/from the Best Western on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we are providing a private shuttle service. The shuttle will depart from the Best Western to the Lilac Inn at 3:30pm. If you wish to leave the reception early, there will be a shuttle that departs the Lilac Inn to the Best Western at 8:30pm. The final shuttle will depart the Lilac Inn at 11:30pm after the reception has ended.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please reach out directly to Lindsey or Mike for special requests regarding allergies.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Once you have received your invitation in the mail, please RSVP by filling out the RSVP insert and using the pre-stamped envelope that you received along with your invitation. We ask that all of our invited guests RSVP no later than August 28.

Question

I called the Best Western and they said they are fully booked, what do I do?

Answer

Some of our guests have informed us that the front desk is telling them the wedding block is fully booked; this is not the case. If you encounter this or any other issues while booking, please reach out to Eli Brannon directly at bwrutlandsales@gmail.com.
