We cannot wait to celebrate our big day with you! We know you're just as anxious as we are for the day to come so while you wait please enjoy perusing our wedding site! We made it special just for you!
Lindsey and Steven met at work! The introduction probably went something like "Hey this is our new hire Lindsey". They struck up a friendship when a group of coworkers would frequent the cafeteria for breakfast bonding over tater tots and Pokemon Go (very 2016). When the question is posed "What can brown do for you?" they can answer "provide us a spouse"
After touring the College Football Hall of Fame with some work friends (hey Gauri and Jessica!) Steven asked Lindsey to join him at a "Waffles and Willis" themed party his friends were throwing later that evening. She was intrigued. Bruce Willis movies were on in every room and waffles were served, it did not disappoint. He asked her out on an official first date the next day where they watched literally the only Bruce Willis movie not played the night before.
Steven surprised Lindsey with a proposal at a park/lake near where Lindsey lived when they first started dating. Steven used their friend Marshall to lie about why they were in the area. They were supposed to meet Marshall for donuts and drinks around the corner but when he was suddenly "30 minutes late" and Steven suggested taking a walk through that particular park, Lindsey had a STRONG suspicion it was about to happen. Once they rounded the corner to the park, the gazebo by the water was decorated with pictures of them throughout their relationship and roses/ rose petals scattered everywhere. Immediately after both sets of parents came around the corner to congratulate the couple including Lindsey's Grandma who had flown in from NY! Later that day a post proposal surprise party took place in their backyard with some friends and family. Special shoutouts to the "committee" who got together to help Steven make this day possible: Alyssa G, Alyssa H, Andrew M, Marshall S, and Mackenzie Z. For those of you who have yet to propose to your SOs, we highly recommend enlisting the best friends to help with the plan.
