Our Story
(As told by Lindsey) Our love story began when Sibi and I crossed paths at a tennis court in DC. I had a league doubles match that day and arrived early to the courts to practice my serve. To my surprise, I saw a tall, handsome guy working on some agility drills. Wow, he's cute, I thought! After serving a few balls on the court next to him, I eventually worked up the courage to introduce myself. Sibi greeted me with a warm smile and immediately put me at ease. He offered to hit with me to warm me up for my match. Sibi's tennis skills were impressive, but his energy and character impressed me more. I loved being around him! When we finished hitting, Sibi gave me his phone number in case I wanted to hit with him in the future. Spoiler alert, I did! We played lots of tennis together—and cooked, laughed, and traveled the world together. I showed up at the courts that day for a tennis match, not realizing that I would also be meeting my love match. I'm so glad I did.
