We’re getting married!

My girls and I planned a night out in Orlando to go to a Justin Timberlake concert at the Amway Center and stay the night at a cute little Airbnb. After the concert was over we decided to explore downtown Orlando and stop at a few bars for some drinks. As we were walking around we got seperated while some of the girls went to the restroom. Chrissy and I were walking around and got stopped by, little did I know at the time, my now fiance, Ron! He had been at the Justin Timberlake concert also and stopped at one of the bars in the company he works with (Irish Shannon’s) to get a drink himself. He invited us in for shots and the other girls quickly joined us. After hanging out for a while at Irish Shanon’s we decided we wanted to venture out to a few other bars. I had not been out downtown Orlando in years and neither had the girls so we did not really know where to go so Ron offered to walk us around to a couple places so that is what we did. He was so easy to talk to and super fun to be around. End of the night, we are about to head to our Airbnb and Ron and I exchange phone numbers. I had no idea he would actually text me the next morning starting with “Hello my heaven sent angel!” After exchanging a few texts and Ron wanting to see each other again sometime I quickly said “Well I live in Leesburg and never really come out this way but I will let you know if I do.” That was a clue to him to let it go so being the kind person he is he said okay, nice meeting you and that was about it. Fast forward just a few hours and I decide to text again not really knowing what to say so I asked if he had a snapchat. Just reaching for a reason to text him. After that it was all history. We made plans to hang out the following week and then from there plans to hang out a full weekend I didn’t have my kids. We never stopped talking daily from the night we met! Now, almost 2 years later, I get to marry the man who quickly became my best friend and the one I can always count on! ❤️
