Visit Fenway Park, get a Fenway Frank, a cold beer, and watch the Sox play the Twins on Friday, 9/20. Can’t get more Boston than that
Say hi to the seals, penguins and other aquatic life at the New England Aquarium! A must for children and adults a-like. It’s a total Petey Vasaturo favorite and only a few steps away from the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel.
Get lost in Boston’s iconic North End— indulge in the culture, enjoy the sights, and, of course, eat all the Italian food and pastries you can handle! You really can’t go wrong but our personal favorite is Carmelinas for lunch, Regina’s for pizza, and pastries from Bovas (open 24/7).
Another favorite of ours— the MFA. Be sure to set aside a decent amount of time so you can see all this beautiful museum has to offer! The MFA has art and artifacts from all over the world, and spanning centuries.
Stretching 2 1/2 miles around Boston, the Freedom Trail marks Paul Revere’s famous journey to warn the city of the arrival of the British! Starting in Boston Common, this trail will take you by some of the most historic parts of the city such as Faneuil Hall, the Paul Revere House, and Old North Church. If at any point you are walking around and you see red and blue bricks laid parallel, you may just be on the Freedom Trail!
If you’re in the mood for some shopping while sight seeing, Newbury Street is a must!
